Reservations
Book a table.
Reserve online in a minute, or ring us and talk to somebody. Both reach the same diary. The phone is simply better at the awkward ones: a party of fourteen, a birthday, an allergy you want to explain properly.
Before you book
Do I need to book?
Not always. If there is a table, you are welcome to walk in. Friday and Saturday evenings fill up, though, and so does anything in December, so on those nights a booking saves you standing in the doorway.
How do I book?
Online through our booking page, or ring 01403 257777 and talk to us. For a large party the phone is better: the first three questions are always numbers, date and format, and a call settles all three in a minute.
How many people can you take?
Small tables are straightforward. For a big party it depends on the night and how the room is already booked, so ring us with your numbers. Our private dining page explains how we lay a long table out and what other people have done with it.
Can you work around an allergy?
Say so when you book and we will tell you there and then what we can do. It is one kitchen with one grill and a shared fryer, so there are things we cannot promise, and our allergen page says which.
Is there parking?
Not our own, but Piries Place multi-storey is about 5 minutes’ walk away and is open around the clock. Horsham station is about 12 minutes on foot.
Can we bring children?
Yes, and they are genuinely welcome. Plenty of what we cook is exactly what a child will eat: grilled chicken, bread, chips, rice. It comes to the table to be shared instead of plated per person, which suits a family.

What the room is like
“Excellent food, very reasonably priced. We (family of 5) shared the hot and cold mezzes plus extra halloumi and calamari as they are the kids’ favourites. A lovely (free) surprise was the dessert with a candle as it was our grandson’s birthday.”

Tripadvisor · 17 January 2026“We visited Shish in Horsham this evening as two families, a group of 11, and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. […] The service was outstanding, especially given the size of our group. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything arrived promptly and with a smile.”
