Birthdays, family gatherings, work dinners and the December booking everyone leaves too late. We push the tables together, send the mezze down the middle, and cook the rest to order over charcoal the way we do every other night.

Birthdays and family meals
The tables push together and the mezze goes down the middle. Tell us when you book that it is somebody’s birthday and we will do something about it.
Big family gatherings
Christenings, engagements, anniversaries, the family that only gets together twice a year. Everything comes off the same grill, so a long table eats the same food as table four.
Work dinners and Christmas
Team dinners, leaving dos and the December booking everybody leaves too late. Ring early for a Friday or a Saturday in December.
Parties we have had
Fifty guests, twenty-eight, eleven.

Common questions
How many people can you seat?
It depends on the day and how the room is already booked, so ring us on 01403 257777 with your numbers and your date and we will tell you straight away. We have laid tables for parties well into the twenties.
Is there a set menu for a group?
We will put one together with you. It comes off the same menu and the same grill as every other table, and nothing is bought in for a party. Agreeing it in advance is mostly so that thirty people are not ordering one at a time on the night.
How much notice do you need?
For a normal table, as little as the same day if we have the room. For a large party, the more the better. A couple of weeks is comfortable, and December books up long before that.
Can we have the restaurant to ourselves?
Sometimes, depending on the night and the size of the party. It is not something we can promise from a web page, so ask us and we will give you a real answer for your date.
Can you cater for vegetarians and allergies?
Yes. A good part of the mezze is vegetarian before you reach the grill, and the kitchen will build around an allergy. Mention it when you book, so it can be cooked separately.
What does it cost?
The same as eating here normally: the prices on the menu are the prices. A set menu for a large party is priced per head when we agree it, from those same dishes.
